Africa Photographic Awards 2010 hosted at Monte Casino

The Africa Photographic Awards 2010 was hosted at Monte Casino and I received the bronze award in the category for fashion photographer. I specialise as a fashion photographer, glamour photographer, studio photographer and model portfolio photographer. The photo was also published in the Pix Magazine.

I was approached by Marna de Waal, owner of Hair Successo, to do a studio photography session for the Bridal Magazine.

It’s not everyday that you get the chance to photograph 7 babies in 1 hour. This was so much fun, and these babies were truely so cooperative and friendly throughout the whole shoot. A big thank you to all the moms and dads – a successful project for the Potchefstroom University for Newborn Screening. I worked very close with Brenda, who runs the Newborn Screening Division, helping with all their design needs.

The project involved photography and then designing of posters, newsletter, information brochures and business cards.

Album Design

I was fortunate to do Nicolette and Morne’s wedding, and was even more fortunate to be asked to do their first pregnancy and their first newborn shoot. As with every pregnancy, we rejoice the creation of life, and I love capturing these moments. The most special part is photographing the newborn baby, a true miracle and a gift from God! Thank you Nicolette and Morne for letting me share this wonderful cycle with you. After both the shoots, I designed an A4 landscape album with all their beautiful photos.
